Colourful & Stylish Wedding Photography Preview, At Todmorden Unitarian Church & The Mill Venue Walsden. Fun Wedding / Todmorden wedding

Emily got ready at the Bird in the Hand Airbnb in Walsden, which is actually really beautiful (it used to be a pub), with really great views of Todmorden and great light for prep.

Emily and Darren got married at the Unitarian church in Todmorden near Honey Hole Road, and it’s a really nice church run by Joanna.

They had a local florist who did the flowers (who have worked with before called Rachel at The Yorkshire Flower Patch) so they had loads of really nice natural grown colourful, springy summer type flowers in milk churns and then in jars all down the aisle. They then took those flowers and had them on the tables in the Mill Venue in Walsden, which went really really well with the lantern decor. What I loved about the Mill Venue , is the kids got to play at the Maxwells fun house next door, during the wedding. How ace is that?

The Unitarian Church itself is actually really nice because it goes up on a hill. When you walk down later you get some really nice photos with the church in the background. Emily and Darren had some really cool cars, that also meant a lot to them, that took them to the Mill wedding venue in Walsden. The Mill has some lovely outdoor seating areas and really good natural light in the bar area for candid photos.

There are different areas in the main room and then a room for dancing so it’s quite big and has lanterns and fairy lights hanging up.

Emilys second dress was from this Asos collection by Rachel Burke, who I absolutely adore!!!
