Film & Florals: A Stylish Manchester City Centre Wedding Captured On Digital With 35mm film & Polaroids

Laura and Lydon recently had a small and intimate wedding at Manchester registry office in September. They hired me as their photographer for two hours. I joined them towards the end of the ceremony and we took group photos near the library.

Laura had stunning red and pink flowers from Northern Flowers, which added a pop of color to their special day. After the photos, we headed to the Manchester City Centre for some portraits. The couple sipped prosecco in the gardens of Manchester Art Gallery before ending the day with drinks at Albert Schloss.

Their wedding cake was a beautiful red and pink heart shape adorned with disco balls. I also took some polaroids to capture the moment. The atmosphere was so fun and relaxed, with a musician playing music as we took group photos outside the library. Overall, the day was filled with modern, romantic, and very emotional vibes. The vintage-styled decorations and colorful details added a unique touch to the celebration. Laura and Lydon's choice of alternative wedding venues, such as drinks at Albert Schloss, made the day even more memorable. As a Manchester wedding photographer, I love capturing these cool and intimate moments on film, whether it be on 35mm or instant film.
